Welcome to the website of the Quebec Network on Nursing Intervention Research (RRISIQ) funded by FRQS (Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé), the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS), and its academic partners (Université de Montréal, McGill University, Université de Sherbrooke, Université Laval, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Université du Québec en Outaouais, Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, Université du Québec à Rimouski).
We are pleased to invite researchers, students, clinicians, policy makers, to join the network launched in the spring of 2012.
The Network’s mission is to stimulate and support the development and application of knowledge on nursing interventions to improve health and health care by integrating three areas of nursing research which are: clinical interventions, organization of nursing services and education.
The Network was created with the aim of developing nursing intervention research and consolidating links between research and practice in order to provide quality care. Researchers from three entities came together to create this Network, namely the Quebec Interuniversity Nursing Intervention Research Group (GRIISIQ), the Centre for Training and Expertise in Nursing Administration Research (FERASI) and the Centre for Innovation in Nursing Education (CIFI). The Network also includes student members and associate members from other universities or other disciplines, as well as clinicians and managers in the health care system.
We are proud to have a dynamic team of members who develop studies in three strategic domains, including chronic disease management and end of life care; accessibility, continuity and safety in care, and personalized care.
Three platforms provide support to Network members in terms of resources, knowledge transfer and international development.
The Network provides an opportunity to participate in the development of expertise in nursing interventions, and contribute to improving people’s health.
