Running quantitative and qualitative research studies involving human participants is complex and requires the coordination of a myriad of moving parts. Setting in place procedural protocols can be time-consuming, however these tools ultimately save researchers time and money, reduce errors and missing data, improve yield of recruitment, and importantly, provide a cohesive process that empower all members of the research team. This presentation outlines some of these in-house tools as well as online platforms that facilitate communication and data collection.
