RevMan is a free software used for Cochrane Meta-Analyses that can also be used for other types of systematic reviews. This software is also useful to build characteristic and comparative tables in a systematic review. It also allows to add data on the included studies, to undertake meta-analyses and to present the results in graphics. The software is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X.

During this workshop, Ms. Roy will present an overview of the software as well as the different steps undertaken to achieve a typical meta-analysis forest plot graphic. There will also be, a demonstration of a sensibility analysis to explain heterogeneity.

At the bottom of the page, you will find an article that will be used as an example for dichotomous and continuous variables during the workshop. For this workshop, we recommend to bring 2 to 3 articles with categorical and continuous variables to learn how to use the software.

Videoconference is not available for this scientific activity.
