On July 27th, the Quebec Network on Nursing Intervention Research (RRISIQ) scientific committee met to identify the recipients for the 2023-2024 competition to support innovative and structuring projects. This meeting was preceded by a preliminary evaluation conducted by three external and independent evaluators, separate from the scientific committee. The goal of this competition was to support provincial initiatives focusing on the complementarity and expertise of researchers from various disciplinary backgrounds. Moreover, RRISIQ sought to foster collaboration and networking among researchers, students, and stakeholders in care and living environments.
A total of twenty-eight (28) applications were submitted to this competition, resulting in seven (7) financial supports, totaling nearly CA$ 350,000, granted by the end of the scientific committee meeting.
In the coming weeks, we will provide an overview of the projects funded by RRISIQ during this competition. Meanwhile, you can find a summary of the grants awarded for each competition below. We extend our congratulations to all applicants and their research teams on these fundings!
