Abstract

The deployment of information and communications technologies (ICT) is bringing great change to healthcare. What are the effects of ICT on nursing practice and on patients? Is the relation between nurses and patients/families possible or threatened by the advent of ICT? How can nurses seize the opportunity that these technologies offer in regards to development of interventions and in their daily practice? The speakers will address these questions and present the challenges and the issues related to the evaluation and transfer of e-health interventions into care environments.
