RevMan is a free software used for Cochrane Meta-Analyses that can also be used for other types of systematic reviews. This software is also useful to build characteristic and comparative tables in a systematic review. It also allows to add data on the included studies, to undertake meta-analyses and to present the results in graphics. The software  is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X.

During this workshop, Ms. Roy will present an overview of the software. She will discuss the different steps of the systematic review process that ensure the proper quality of the studies included prior to capturing data into the system, as well as the different steps undertaken to achieve a typical meta-analysis forest plot graphic. There will also be a demonstration of a sensibility analysis to explain heterogeneity.

Participants may bring their own articles to further exlpore the software in accordance with their research thematic at the end of the presentation, if time permits.

Videoconference is not available for this scientific activity.
