Abstract
RevMan is a free software developed by the Cochrane Collaboration Group. It is designed to carry out systematic reviews and Cochrane Meta-Analyses or for publications in other medical journals. This software is also useful to build characteristic and comparative tables in a systematic review. It also allows to add to included studies, to undertake meta-analyses and to present the results with graphics. The software is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X. During this workshop, Ms. Roy will present an overview of the software. She will review the preliminary steps of the systematic review process prior to entering data into the system to insure a good quality of included studies as well as the different steps undertaken to achieve a typical meta-analysis forest plot graphic.
