The Research Group on “Rehabilitation and Quality of Life” of the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing will select a postdoctoral fellow to participate to the Thematic Project funded by FAPESP entitled “The rehabilitation process and its interfaces with the quality life and culture of individuals - Phase II”. The studies included in this thematic project are focused on testing educational interventions for patients with cardiac problems (heart failure and anticoagulation therapy) and contribute to the education of undergraduate students and graduate students (master’s and doctorate levels). The postdoctoral researcher must have a Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN), with expertise in the themes involved in the thematic project. The nurse candidate must be able to develop and maintain the organization of databases; have knowledge of statistical methods, and have knowledge of the software IBM SPSS modules for statistical analyzes.
The scholarship will run for 12 months with possible renewal until the end of the project period and will be funded by FAPESP. The stipend of the FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship is R$ 5,578.80 per month (2,557.90 US$ according to the October 15th Exchange Rate). The Research Contingency Funds are intended for use in activities developed by the Fellowship holder, strictly related to the fellowship research project, during the term of the fellowship. The funds are equivalent to 15 per cent of the annual value of the fellowship (around R$ 10,635 or 4,876.20 US$ according to the October 15th Exchange Rate).
