The Quebec Network on Nursing Intervention Research is proud to announce that it has received significant funding to allow it to continue its activities for the 2022-2024 period. The Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS), in partnership with the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS), has recently confirmed this funding.

This new funding will allow the RRISIQ to continue supporting its members in the proposal of innovative and structuring projects, in their efforts to disseminate and mobilize knowledge, and in supporting the next generation of researchers. The creation of interdisciplinary and intersectoral partnerships will also allow the RRISIQ to continue to evolve over the next few years. The network's 2022-2024 plan is based on the latest ministerial priorities and the orientations described by the RRISIQ in the brief they submitted to the ministère de l'Économie et de l'Innovation. This plan focuses on developing, evaluating and implementing innovative interventions and health practices directed at individuals, families, communities, caregivers, health care personnel, and care and living environments.

The RRISIQ was founded in 2012 and includes regular, associate, student, and honorary members from eight Quebec universities. Several clinical settings and other research networks are also active partners of the RRISIQ. The RRISIQ regularly offers funding opportunities and scientific activities to its members. The journal Science of Nursing and Health Practices – Science infirmière et pratiques en santé is also published by the RRISIQ.
