Home support policies in Quebec recognize that "ageing at home" is the first choice of the elderly. Moreover, this approach greatly implies the contribution of families and should appeal to a diverse range of adjusted services. The questions that arise are:
- Are these services available within the health care system?
- Are they accessible to the greatest number?
- What are the wishes of the elderly and their family members about the services to be provided at home?
